‘Hi, I’m Steve, the owner of South Devon Construction. I’m Devon born and bred and my business follows traditional Devon values of honesty, integrity, and hard graft.

​I’ve been in the building trade for over 25 years, starting as a labourer and working my way up to running my own business and gaining a Level 3 Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation, as well as a Level 7 Diploma in Construction Management. It’s fair to say I’ve seen a lot of builds!

Every build we work on is unique and, as such, we offer a taylor made approach to your project’.

Here is what we offer…

​​​​General Building – We use this approach for smaller projects. The work is carried out by myself and a small team of local professional tradesmen. The type of work we carry out under this title tends to be jobs that require one or two trades, for example, hard landscaping, masonry work, or roofing.

​​Principle Contractors​ – We act as Principle Contractors for larger projects that involve architects, Building Control, and multiple trades. Examples include: conversions, extensions, and new builds. If required we can also act as Principle Designer for your project.
We cover South Devon, Dartmoor, Plymouth, Ivybridge, Dartington, Totnes, Ashburton, Newton Abbot, Exeter and surrounding areas. Our comprehensive services cover a wide range of construction needs.
